London 2012 Olympics: iPlayer strikes gold with 200m viewing requests:

Summary:
The article is about BBC iplayer hitting there record breaking viewing of 200m in August because the Olympics. As the opening ceremony had 2.9m views and the following closing ceremony to have 2.11m views in which mobile usage went up by 30% and tablet usage up by a fifth. Live Viewing was also at a high as third of the 151m viewers were watching.
Opinion:
In my opinion I think this happening due to the up rise in smart phones and tablets in the world in which more people can catch with television on-line as the print is in decline more people think it is much efficient and better to watch television on line due the fact that a viewer can get a immediate response and catching up on telvision can allow a person to do normal activities.
